FT FLAME CHARACTERISTIC
High luminous adjustable flame
SUMMARY OF PRODUCTION RESULTS
- The FT burner creates a very stable flame and allows easy control of flame length and luminosity
- This FT design works between 450 and 650 Nm3/hr
- Batch melting was enhanced after a change to FT burner
- Bottom temperatures were increased by about 10 °C
- Afterwards energy input was reduced
- Furnace temperatures on the crown were in maximum of 1550 °C and close to the throat 1517 °C
- NOx levels varied around 400 - 500 mg/Nm3
